Habe (gratis!) Arum Hygrophilum bekommen, meine Quelle meinte erst im Dezember einsetzen.
Kein Wunder aber, die sind aus Florida! :)
Also was meint ihr?
Ich poste hier mal was sie dazu meinte:
:eng: Got as a gift some Arum Hygrophilum bulbs, the lady said I should plant them in December. No wonder as she lives in Florida! :)
What do you think? Here's what she wrote:

Arum hygrophilum can definitely stand more water than most other Arum species, even growing in boggy soil near creeks and streams. It grows in the winter and early spring, and can take lots of winter-time sun, but gets a bit “burnt” in summer sun. I usually plant the corms directly in the ground (we have heavy clay here, so I add some compost), and also sometimes in pots. This species seems to do quite well in many different soils, as long as it is planted well underground ( 5 to 10 cm under the soil ) and kept evenly moist and well fed as it is growing. It blooms very young, and very early in the year, starting in December here!
I would keep it dry through the summer and fall, and start letting it get wet in the late winter to trigger it into growing.

Danke
Peter
